This year, we are pleased to offer meals for competitors and coaches catered by Old Chicago in Apple Valley. Our many thanks and sincere appreciation go to the staff and management at Old Chicago for their tireless efforts and a job well done. Please visit the Old Chicago in Apple Valley if you are staying at the AmericInn or on your way back home to sample the rest of their extensive menu. Old Chicago will be catering dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday prior to the announcement of the elimination round participants. Old Chicago has also prepared vegitarian and non-vegitarian options as indicated on the menu.
When you register for the tournmament, you will need to order the number of student meals your team will purchase each day for $5.00 per meal. We have tried to keep this cost at a minimum and we believe that the menu will excede your expectations. Coaches and judges will receive a complimentary meal on each day but please indicate in your registration how many adult meals your team will need. When purchasing student meal tickets, please make sure to identify the correct number of meals for Eastview (NOVICE) or Apple Valley (VARSITY & JV) on Friday and the number of meals for your entire team at Apple Valley on Saturday. There will be light concessions available at each building throughout the tournament including pop, water, chips, and candy. However, it is impossible to leave the tournament site for food and no other meal options will be available. Debaters can plan on breakfast items being available at our concession stands on Saturday morning. Please let them know this is an option.
NO MEAL TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE TOURNAMENT SITES. Old Chicago is preparing these meals in advance for our tournament so we need your assistance. Please have your meal ticket numbers with your registration. All meal tickets must be pre-paid at registration. Please send a check in advance to cover the cost of the tickets or provide cash or check at registration.
